70th Anniversary Walk
The Rev. Bro. Stephen
Lucas Annual Walk was inaugurated in 2015 to honour his meritorious and lengthy
contribution to St. Dominic Church.
This year’s walk, complements the 70th
Anniversary celebrations of the church. It is open to all parishioners who are interested
in walking for sport. The walk route is from the church through Unilag back gate, to Unilag Senate
Building, to Unilag main gate and back to St. Dominic’s.
There are four categories:
Youth (14-20 yrs), Young Adults (21-35 yrs), Adults (36-59 yrs) and Elderly
(60yrs plus). Forms for all participants are N1,000 each, except elderly form at
N500. Entries close 5pm on Thursday, 23 November, 2023.
The first place winner will receive N20,000, second prize: N10,000
and N5, 000 for third place. There is a participation certificate for everyone who
completes the walk.
Date of Walk: Saturday, 25 November, 2023.
Time: 7:30 am.
Starting point: St. Dominic Catholic Church.
