The St. Patrick’s church/school was not the only responsibility of the resident priest in Yaba Mission. He also had to work in a number of scattered out-stations thst included Ijoko, Iju, Ikeja, Isheri, Mafoluku, Kajola, Ilagbo, Ajibode, Lako, Lapenkele, Oworonshoki and the Ifo Mission Station »

A Reverend Father or Brother is on duty weekdays from 8.30 am to 12 noon and 4.30 to 6.30 pm for counselling, prayer, bookings of infant-baptisms, weddings, funerals etc.
This relic of Pope John Paul II consists of four small vials of blood which had been taken from him during his final days for a possible transfusion, but were never used. Two of the vials were given to John Dziwisz, and another two remained at the vatican's Bambin Gesu hospital in the care of nuns. one of the hospital vials has been placed in a reliquary and presented during the beatification rights the other will remain with the nuns
It is a tradition to have Mission Statement in St. Dominic’s and so every parishioner looks forward to it during the inauguration of the Pastoral Year. The word Mission is the act of sending. Historically mission statement is associated with Christian religious groups, so the word “Missionary.” According to dictionary definition a Mission Statement is a formal document that states the objectives of a company or organization. A Mission Statement guides and helps the organisation to be focus on its set goals and achievement strategies for the organization in general or in a particular year or season.
The umbrella body for all women in the parish, the Catholic Women Organization(CWO), is calling on all parishioners to celebrate their mothers and those and those that have played a mothers are asking of us is to join and not be left out of the encomiums and pleasantries been showered on mothers as we celebrate Mother’s Day across the world. It is a day that affords loudly, without hesitation, express their love and gratitude to their mothers. Some children handmade items or prepare special meals to express their affection of appreciation and respect. Some other children take their mothers to the movies, a restaurant, a café or a day in a park. And others simply wish their mothers a happy Mother’s Day with a hug, a peck or a kiss.
